In our move to Clinton, we searched for a home that would be comfortable for all 4 of us as well as the 3 furry boys. We settled on an 1830 Greek Revival in the center of the village, previously occupied for over 40 years by one family. The house had been loved by that family, but recently fallen into some disrepair. It needed a significant lift, part of which would include a complete rehab of the 1860 ell, with its bowed floors, shaky walls and squirrel traps. We hired Altonview Architects to help us sort through our ideas as well as the house’s immediate needs. And what we settled on was a renovation of the original structure and a fresh start with the ell.
